Hands down the best meal I had while traveling to Atlanta. It was so refreshing to find a place with healthy vegan options. The bowl I had was loaded with tasty veggies and an amazing pesto sauce. The self-serve ordering process was quick and easy. I only wish I could have stayed to try more of the menu options.

This is going to be my new go to spot. Tons of vegan options that was actually flavorful and fulfilling. Our server was super nice and very patient with us. The place is cute for any occasion, like date night, hanging out with friends, going out by yourself, etc. they have outside seating as well and really enforce the 6 ft seating rule.
Recess and Bar Mercado are a combined. I’m reviewing an item on the Recess menu. The patio is great. Not very big but nice. The service we had last night was pretty good but the food was so delicious. The bowl is so flavorful-a nice mix of textures too. The bowl can be all vegetarian or you can add a protein. I didn’t add a meat and it is very filling with more to take home. If you’re looking for good vegetarian or vegan options, but really just good food, I’d recommend Recess.
I met the manager or owner the day before. I introduced myself and told him that I found them on the internet. I was looking for something healthy to order for my staff and wanted to know the process. He explained everything to me and fast forward to today I placed my order thru Uber eats. The food is absolutely delicious and the right portion for the price. I ordered the My Fair Lady and added feta cheese. I don’t eat dressing I am sure it would be even more tastier . However without the flavor with those raisins was so darn yummy delicious!!! I can’t wait to place another order for myself and my staff at Warby Parker
Recess always provides delicious, fresh food— both in person at krog and via delivery (and it’s hard to find reliable delivery options these days). My favorites are the Dirty Bird and Don Diego— their shredded chicken is so good! A few friends have had Recess cater for work events as well and all have raved about their experiences. Don’t sleep on Recess!!
This place is seriously amazing! There are vegan and celiac safe gluten free options. Even the FRIES ARE GLUTEN FREE because it’s a dedicated fryer! Ordered the Copacabana with added carnitas and I can’t stop thinking about it, the Year of the Tiger bowl with chicken was super tasty and filling, and the vegan cream sauce on the loaded fries is to die for. Definitely a great choice for lunch but the market has limited seating so you should get it to go.
Discovered this place while in Krog Street. This bowl was amazing and I loved being able to customize my own bowl! Will be coming back and have already recommended lots of friends in the ATL area
